Right now, we are facing unprecedented threats from the rise of an authoritarian regime that's putting billionaires and corporate polluters over people, driving us further into climate chaos, and attacking the people and places that we love. If we come together as a movement, we can break the power of oil and gas polluters and speed a transition to clean, affordable energy for our communities.

The Three Waters Pipeline Resistance Team and COPAL are teaming up to host a weekend training and organizing blitz in Minneapolis, November 7-9, as part of a national training tour fighting the fossil fuel billionaires. If you've been looking to plug into local climate or environmental justice work, or if you want to deepen your involvement, this training is for you.

This training will kick off a new Minnesota-based campaign to Shut Down the Enbridge Mainline, an ambitious long term effort to build a future free from Enbridge's tar sands oil pipelines and climate destruction. It will also feature opportunities to advance protections for frontline communities facing environmental injustice and make connections for building shared power between the climate fight and the fight for immigrant rights in the face of the Trump administration's horrific actions.

We'll include time in the classroom learning new organizing skills and time in the field engaging members of the community. The training weekend is free, though space is limited, and breakfast and lunch are provided for each day. All attendees are invited to continue their engagement beyond the training weekend with campaigns that have local action and national impact.

RSVP to let us know you're interested, and we will send more information closer to the date!
